Who We Can Help

Type of position and compensation are important items to discuss upfront. It’s not about filling a quota for us, so we aren’t going to sugarcoat our discussions about a job. We focus on expectations.

All positions we represent are:

  • Full-time, direct hire by the company. We don’t offer contract work.
  • In some cases there are positions that require a rotating shift (not all positions are like this).
  • Benefits and other compensations are offered by the hiring company and vary based on the company and position.
  • Compensation packages can range from $50k+ to $125k based on the position and company.

Communication is critical and we ask for your trust, honesty and responsiveness once we begin working together and we will reciprocate. Do I need to pay for your recruiting service?

Connection Recruiting gets paid by our hiring client. Our service to job seekers is Free.

Because we work with a number of candidates and clients, we ask for your honesty, your responsiveness and follow-up once we begin to engage and in return, we will do the same. Everyone is busy and the more we communicate, the better we can serve you.  We are here to help you and your honesty is extremely valuable to the process.

Do you hold job fairs?

No, we don’t hold or send our candidates to job/career fairs.  Job fairs are great and work for some people but we like to focus your time with tine with us on specific companies that meet your goals for a new career.

Do you only work in the USA?

While we work with both US-based and International companies, we focus on positions that are located in the U.S.A.

Who do I work for, Connection Recruiting or the hiring company?

We work with companies that hire the job seeker directly.  Our job is to work with job seekers and understand their career goals and priorities.  We vet each candidate for the companies we represent and work with the candidates throughout the interview process.  Once a company decides to make a job offer to a candidate our job is done.

Can I work with more than one recruiter?

Of course! We don’t require candidates to sign an exclusive contract, or any contract with Connection Recruiting.  However, it is important for us to know if you are working with multiple recruiters.  Sometimes the positions we have available may overlap with another recruiter. If another recruiter has already submitted you for a position that we are considering for, we respectfully backoff.  But that doesn’t mean we can’t work together, we just need to look at different opportunities.

Why do you need to know so much about me?

We ask a lot of questions – it’s our job. The more we know about you, your goals, your priorities, your background, the more we can help you.

It’s not easy opening up to someone you don’t know and we understand this. Our conversations are meant to help us find you the right fit, resolve any issues early on in the process and make sure you go into an interview with a company prepared. On the flip side, we need to prepare the company for you as well. People aren’t perfect but we do need to be honest and respectful with each other.
