The Recruiting and Pre-Screening Process with Connection Recruiting

As part of the recruiting process, Connection Recruiting pre-screen every candidate prior to presenting them to a company.

Our pre-screening is an in-depth process. To find the right candidate for the job requires us to ask the candidate the difficult questions to ensure they are the right fit for a company and that the job is the right fit for the candidate.

  • We work with an employers team to understand their needs and goals of the position.
  • We pre-screen each candidate to understand their skills, capability and desires. If the candidate meets the required skills we move them forward in the process. If the candidate is not the right fit, we remove them from the process for the particular position and try to find them another opportunity.
  • We remove the “sugar-coating” and focus on expectations.
  • We discuss every aspect of the position with the candidate including:
    • Travel requirements, if required
    • Analyze their customer service skills
    • Review hours and work environment – will they work shift work, the hours of each shift, the working environment, is it clean or in a dusty manufacturing plant or steel mill
    • Provide a description of the position location – is it rural, any nearby cities, or is it in a metropolitan area. We discuss if relocation is necessary
    • Compensation – the hourly rate and the potential for overtime is communicated with the candidate to set expectations

By understanding and communicating all of these details we work with employers to expedite and provide a smooth placement process.
